Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a vector file or can I send a PNG or JPEG?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF with embedded fonts) give you the sharpest print and cleanest die-cut path. We can accept high-resolution PNGs (300dpi minimum at print size). If you only have a low-resolution file, we offer an artwork trace service — ask us about it when you submit your order.
How does the die-cut shape get determined — who makes the cut path?
Our prepress team builds the cut path around your artwork contour with a 3mm offset for clean edges. You see the cut line on your digital proof before we print anything. If you want a specific shape (not a contour cut), just tell us and we will build a custom path to match.
Are BOPP stickers safe for outdoor use — bumpers, windows, helmets?
Yes. BOPP film with laminate is rated for 3+ years outdoor exposure. The adhesive holds on painted metal, glass, and hard plastic surfaces. UV-resistant laminate prevents fading even in direct Ontario sunlight. For extreme temperature cycling (vehicle bumpers, toolboxes), we recommend gloss or matte laminate over holographic.
Can I order a small test batch before committing to a large run?
Absolutely. Our minimum is 25 stickers. Order a small run to check colours, finish, and cut accuracy before scaling up. Pricing per unit drops significantly at 250, 500, and 1,000 units — we will show you the full pricing tiers when you request a quote.
Do you offer white ink printing for stickers on clear or holographic substrates?
Yes. White ink underbase is available for clear BOPP, holographic, and metallic substrates. Without white ink, colours on clear film appear translucent. White ink printing adds one print pass and a small per-unit cost — worth it for premium product packaging stickers.
