Frequently Asked Questions
What does a "ghost label" actually look like on a bottle?
The label material is completely transparent. Your design — text, logo, graphics — is printed in full colour directly on the clear film. When applied to glass, the clear areas disappear and only your design is visible. The effect is that the art appears to be printed directly on the bottle.
Will these survive in an ice bucket?
Yes. The adhesive and material are both rated for cold, wet conditions. Labels stay firmly adhered through ice water, condensation, and repeated handling. We test every batch for this.
Can I order fewer than 500 labels?
500 is our standard batch, but we can accommodate smaller runs. Contact us with your quantity — we'll provide a quote. There are no setup fees regardless of quantity.
What file format do you need for my artwork?
We accept PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, and high-resolution PNG files (300 DPI minimum). If you don't have print-ready artwork, we can help — send us your logo and we'll create a label layout for you.
Are these LCBO/VQA compliant?
The labels themselves are compliant with all Canadian food-contact and beverage labelling requirements. Your label design must include the required regulatory text (alcohol content, volume, etc.) — we'll flag anything missing during the proof stage.
