PET Polyester Labels - Industrial Durable
PET Polyester Labels — Industrial Durable
Built for the factory floor. Our PET (polyethylene terephthalate) polyester labels are engineered for environments where standard paper and film labels simply fail — chemical exposure, extreme temperatures, industrial solvents, and rough handling are no match for this material.
If your label needs to survive a chemical drum, a piece of outdoor industrial equipment, or a manufacturing environment with temperature swings from -40°C to +150°C, this is your only choice.
Why PET Polyester Is the Industrial Standard
Chemical Resistant
Withstands oils, acids, solvents, and industrial cleaning agents that dissolve paper and standard BOPP labels within hours.
Extreme Temperature Stable
Rated -40°C to +150°C. Survives autoclave sterilisation, industrial ovens, outdoor arctic conditions, and everything between.
Tear & Abrasion Proof
PET film won't tear, shred, or abrade under rough handling, high-traffic surfaces, or repeated mechanical contact.
BS5609 Available
Dangerous goods shipping labels meeting IMO/BS5609 marine standards available for chemical and hazardous material containers.
How It Works
Specify Your Environment
Tell us the chemical exposure, temperature range, and application surface. We'll confirm the right PET grade and adhesive system for your use case.
Pre-Press & Proof
We prepare your artwork and provide a proof. For safety labels, we confirm compliance with WHMIS or GHS pictogram requirements.
Delivered Ready to Apply
Roll labels shipped from Niagara, Ontario. Industrial quantities and sheeted formats available. 2–5 business days standard production.
Who Uses PET Polyester Labels?
Industrial & Manufacturing
Machine identification plates, asset tags, work-in-progress labels, and production tracking in factories where chemical wash-downs are routine.
Chemical & Hazardous Materials
WHMIS-compliant labels for chemical drums, IBC tanks, and containers requiring GHS pictograms, hazard warnings, and regulatory text that must remain legible.
Outdoor Equipment
Marine, construction, and agricultural equipment labels that survive salt air, UV, rain, and abrasive outdoor conditions for 3–5+ years.
Safety & Compliance Labels
Lock-out/tag-out, electrical hazard, and safety instruction labels for workplace environments where OHSA and regulatory compliance is required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will PET labels survive solvent wipe-downs on industrial equipment?
Yes. PET polyester film is resistant to the most common industrial solvents including isopropanol, acetone (brief exposure), MEK, and industrial degreasers. The key factor is the ink and overlaminate system — we use solvent-resistant digital inks and can add a protective overcoat for harsh chemical environments. Tell us your specific solvent and we'll confirm compatibility.
Can these labels meet WHMIS or GHS requirements?
Yes. We can produce WHMIS 2015 / GHS-compliant labels with standardised pictograms, hazard statements, and signal words. We work with your SDS data or can format standard GHS elements. Labels can be produced with durable UV inks on PET for the required chemical durability. BS5609 marine transport labels are also available.
What adhesive should I choose for metal drums and industrial containers?
For steel, aluminium, and HDPE drums, we recommend our high-tack industrial rubber adhesive. It bonds aggressively to powdercoated, painted, and bare metal surfaces and maintains adhesion through temperature cycling. For curved surfaces or containers that get very cold, specify the low-surface-energy adhesive variant.
What's the minimum order?
500 labels per SKU for roll format. Sheeted format (individual labels on a backing sheet) is available for smaller quantities or hand-application in field environments. Call 289-687-4158 to discuss your volume and format requirements.
How do I provide artwork for safety or regulatory labels?
Send print-ready PDF in CMYK with 3mm bleed. For WHMIS/GHS labels, also provide your SDS document and we'll ensure the pictograms, signal words, and hazard text meet regulatory size and placement requirements. Our pre-press team has experience with compliance label formats.
