Is this real foil or just silver-coloured ink?
It is a true metallised film substrate — not silver ink printed on paper. The foil effect comes from the material itself, which gives it a genuine reflective shimmer that silver ink cannot replicate. The result is dramatically more premium-looking under any lighting condition.
Can I print dark or coloured designs over the metallic surface?
Yes. Full-colour digital printing over the metallic substrate is standard. Dark inks create dramatic contrast against the silver base. Areas left unprinted (transparent) will show the foil, giving a classic metallic accent effect popular in luxury spirits and cosmetics packaging.
Will the metallic label survive a wine cooler or bar fridge?
Metallised BOPP handles standard refrigeration (0–4°C) and moderate condensation well. For ice bath or full submersion applications (some spirits service), we recommend our white BOPP stock with a metallic ink print, or adding a gloss overlaminate to the foil label. What's the minimum order quantity?
500 labels. We offer bundles at 500, 1,000, and 2,500 labels. Foil labels are priced slightly higher than standard BOPP due to the substrate cost, but the price-per-label drops significantly at 1,000+. Ask us for a volume quote.
