Thermal Transfer Labels - Barcode & Warehouse
The Warehouse Workhorse. Print On-Site, Ship with Confidence.
Blank thermal transfer labels engineered for Zebra, TSC, and Honeywell printers β built to scan first time, every time, from receiving dock to last-mile delivery.
Your thermal transfer printer is only as good as the label stock it runs on. Cheap or mismatched labels cause smearing, ribbon waste, scanner failures, and chargebacks. Our thermal transfer labels are formulated specifically for wax, wax-resin, and resin ribbons β delivering crisp barcodes, clean edges, and consistent peel on every roll, every shift, every day.
Why Our Thermal Transfer Labels Outperform
Scan-First-Time Guarantee
Formulated for sharp barcode edge definition. Grade A scannability on Code 128, QR, Data Matrix, GS1-128 β every print run.
Printer Compatible
Engineered to run on Zebra ZT, ZD, ZM series; TSC TE, TTP series; Honeywell PM, PX series β no calibration headaches.
Made in Canada
Produced in Ontario. No border delays. Consistent Canadian stock β not random offshore substitutions that throw off your ribbon settings.
Multiple Substrates
White matte paper, direct thermal, or synthetic BOPP/polyester β matched to your ribbon type and storage environment.
How It Works
Choose Your Substrate
White matte paper for standard warehouse use. Synthetic polyester or BOPP for cold storage, moisture, or chemical exposure.
Load & Print
Drop the roll into your Zebra, TSC, or Honeywell printer. Consistent core sizing and liner tension mean no jams, no re-calibration.
Apply & Scan
Peel and apply. Barcodes scan clean on the first pass at every station β receiving, pick, pack, ship, and last-mile.
Industry Applications
Warehouse & Distribution
Location labels, bin tags, pallet markers, and rack signage. Print on demand as inventory moves β no pre-printed obsolete labels wasted.
Shipping & Fulfillment
Courier-compliant shipping labels for Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, FedEx. High-density black print survives sorting machines and weather exposure.
Retail & Shelf Management
Price labels, SKU tags, and shelf-edge markers. Clean edge-to-edge print with no bleed or ribbon skip on high-volume retail runs.
Manufacturing & Production
Work-in-process tags, component traceability, and quality control labels. Synthetic options survive solvents, heat, and outdoor exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between thermal transfer and direct thermal labels?
Thermal transfer labels require a ribbon (wax, wax-resin, or resin) to print β they produce durable, long-lasting images that resist heat, UV, and chemicals. Direct thermal labels print without a ribbon using heat-sensitive coating β they are ideal for short-term use like shipping labels but fade over time with heat or light exposure.
Which substrate should I choose for cold storage or freezer applications?
Use synthetic BOPP or polyester (PET) labels with a resin ribbon for freezer and cold storage environments. Paper labels absorb moisture and peel. Synthetic labels maintain adhesion down to -40Β°C and scan reliably even when condensation forms on the label surface.
Will these labels work with my specific Zebra printer model?
Our labels are tested on Zebra ZT410, ZT420, ZT610, ZD420, ZD620, ZM400, and ZM600 series. If you have a different model, send us your printer specs and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
Can I get labels in non-standard sizes for my specific application?
Yes. We custom cut any size from 0.75" up to 6.5" wide. There is no odd-size surcharge for orders over 500 labels. Contact us with your dimensions and we will provide a same-day quote.
Do you offer ribbon supply as well?
We can recommend matched ribbon formulations (wax, wax-resin, resin) based on your substrate selection and environment. Contact us at 289-687-4158 or info@luxlabellabs.ca for a matched label-and-ribbon bundle quote.
